PolePosition originated in 1999 in Montreal, Quebec. The band consisted of only two players Brad Call and Scott Loney. They had started off using drum machines to fill the void but had decided that for touring purposes and shows that they would audition drummers throughout the Montreal region. After a a couple badly failed attempts at acquiring a kick ass drummer, they threw the towel in, and just upgraded to a better drum machine. Pole Position has recorded and produced all of their own songs out of their own house using their own private studio. In 2009 PolePosition was awarded with the Dunlop band of the week award which gave the band more Dunlop merch than they could handle. 2010 has brought a new drummer to the line up "Anthony Farina"

Bonjour,
Si tu joues au Québec tu connais certainement Emergenza, le concours live ouvert à tous les groupes de compositions originales qui depuis 10 ans sélectionne avec des concerts au Club Soda et à l'Olympia des groupes de Montréal qui participeront au Taubertal Open Air festival en Allemagne.
