Formed in October 2004, Delsondrive is a band from Montreal (Canada) that quickly got noticed through mp3 listening sites and many shows throughout the province. In 2005, they performed at the Vans Warped Tour in Montreal. Since then, their songs have been played often during online radio shows such as the Punk Rock Show on 4Q Radio and The Captain & Caseys Show on Fuel TV.
The first EP of Delsondrive has rapidly sold among all ages crowd. Completely self produced, this independent release marked the starting point of a journey that so far as been worth the trip for them and their fans.
In fact, "A Penny for a Ride" had already sold more than 1000 copies 6 months only after its release in late March 2006. These numbers are very impressive considering that the majority of these sales were made only in Quebec and without the help of any distributor. For the past 4 months, the band has been focusing on touring intensively outside of Quebec (Ontario, New-Brunswick, Nova-Scotia) where they were acclaimed by their new audiences.
Lately, they've been working on some new material that have been very well received by their fans and the industry. The release of a first full-length effort is planned sometimes in 2007.

Quel est votre idéal concernant l'avenir de Delsondrive?
Tout simplement vivre de notre musique peu importe les conditions de vie que ceci pourrait nous apporter. Notre rêve est de pouvoir consacrer tout notre temps à faire de la musique. En ce moment la seule chose à laquelle on pense (et dieu sait qu'on est pas les seuls!) c'est de partir le plus longtemps possible sur la route afin de partager la scène avec le plus de groupes possible. On a encore beaucoup à apprendre et on est prêt à tout sacrifier pour y arriver.
