Blood Scream is a dirty, noisy, undead, aggressive and poetic rock alternative band based in St.Hyacinthe, Quebec. The members of the group include Frank Coaster (Vocals & Guitar), Mathieu Raymond (Guitar), Stephane Nadeau (Bass) and David Rousseau (Drums).
Frank and Steph have met in high school and started the band in 2002 with Sebas on drums. They played their first show on June 4th of 2004 in their hometown. Sebas left the band after that show. Later in 2004, Math has joined them as a second guitar player. From 2004 to 2006, Blood Scream went through a succession of drummers and then in the fall of 2006 they have recruited Dave who was a friend of Frank and Steph in high school.
The band recorded two songs with Footswitch Records for the compilation Distortion Vol.1 in the summer of 2009 and have played several shows and festivals in Quebec and Ontario. They have shared the stage many times with their friends of Doll, Wicked Star, My Last Euphoria, Slivered Stud and Kadeson. In late summer Blood Scream have opened for Die Mannequin, one of their favorite bands. In June 2010 they self-released their first LP, Illogikalogik. After many guitars and drums smashed, the group disbanded after a concert in their hometown on April 16th of 2011.
